The human body is a sacred temple in which one the spirit lives which has an entirely independent intelligence.
But the Man is also a material and this material darkens it and prevents it from arriving at degrees of vibration.
I suppose that the body will be a statue or a machine of Earth without its hands, the hands which are modeling the material like the spirit.

The thought, says us one, differentiates the man from the animal. When and how this thought appeared? At which time the instinct wasn't any more enough with survival of the species? Which problem or which event is at the origin of this first reflexion? At which time the monkey becomes it thinking and by the same occasion starts the largest process of colonization, predation, destruction which the Earth ever knew.
This first thought, embryonic, prevents it from finding the sleep. It monopolizes it entire. It taps the spirit to him, tortures it without care, corrodes it interior: "My hut, with one or two windows? "...

All is color in the life of the men.
The girls carry pink as of their birth whereas the boys are wrapped up of blue. The shy person is red tomato. The girl in love is described as "blue flower". The innocent one says white being "like snow". The international tensions make us fear the yellow peril.
In the event of anger, the man sees red. When he is afraid, he transfers with the green. And when he is concerned, he crushes black.
In short, all is color in the life of the men.
Then, which will explain us why the center of all these emotive states or of these elaborate thoughts was decked out of gray?
Here is matter with reflexion, don't you find?

Sometimes, when we control our spirit, an idea spouts out of anywhere, it can illuminate the continuation of our existence, when several entities control their spirits, then the world evolves.

"The grey matter isn't it the central point where our ideas, our visions and also our obsessions concentrate.
Don't our history, with our experiments influence they our intellect? So it is normal that each grey matter is single as well as the ADN.
My vision of the life, with its windows of experiments and its balustrades of tests, inspired to me for this grey matter. Artists like Hector Guimard and Magritte very naturally influenced me.
I wanted to express the ramifications of the spirit mixing with the meanders with the thought, This balustrade remains optimistic with this vegetable evolution, while the sky is the broadmindedness which comes after the reflexion."

The myelinized white fibres that one finds in the brain and the spinal cord constitute the white matter. The grey matter is distinguished from the white matter by the internal structures of the cellular body of its neurons.

Artist's statement:
Grey matter.
Evolution: a change qui modifies, selects, improves, complicates.
The evolutionary tree of thought, where brains float among neuronal structures, illustrate the emergence of the intellect among living creatures. A long way to ascend, from the fish, to the frog, and the crocodile to the goose, the mammals are finally the first ones to give birth to the first winding curves displayed by the complex brain.
Evolved mammals, such as man, have inherited this jewel, or burden, as the blossom of this tree is heavy to bear and could at any moment make it fall over.
A little humility, then. At the first stages of the development, toad or prince, we are all equal.
