Desc. :	After Goya (1809). This composition was inspired by my first visit to a museum, the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lille and the insuppressible aesthetic emotion I felt as I looked at two huge Goya pictures placed side by side. Here, the old woman looking at her mirror is thinking about her past image; the effect is produced by patinating the picture on crystal paper.
