Desc. : An original watercolor painting utilizing archetypal imagery of the Madonna. The selection of specific colors for the fabric alludes to this. The silver armband is from the city of "father-apple", Alma Ata, Kazakhstan. Although Almaty is a long distance from Palestine, it is possible that portable trade goods such as this could have made their way to the Levant during the pre-islamic and pre-christian eras.
