Desc. : I frequently reference other artwork through mine, but perhaps none so directly as this. My title is derived from a direct quote by Elizabeth I, because she was a woman who had tremendous power and an understanding of how to use it. I wanted to armor my Judith with this power. I believe that Klimt painted Judith the seductress. I wanted to paint Judith the executioner.
