After some years of study in "Ecole des Beaux Arts" of Toulon I paint mainly people from Africa or Polynesia with a lot of colors. I paint with oil colors.
Self-taught, after some years in the Fine arts(School of Fine Arts) of Brest and Toulon. I paint since around thirty years, in the oil essentially, on paintings(clothes), some works in the pastel.
I am inspired by the Polynesia and Africa. Colourer and was more attracted(enticed) by the portraits than by the landscapes, I try to make share the felt feelings.
I began with pencil drawings, portraits and nudes. Then I tried the watercolor that I still practise little for landscapes and the pastel before directing me to the oil on canvas. I paint with brushes, I tried the paint(painting) in the knife but what I find difficult to use for portraits. I live in the South of France but I have difficulty in painting the landscapes of Provence crushed by sun and I prefer the more differentiating tones of Brittany.
