Desc. : Dans la mythologie grecque les Danaides étaient les cinquante filles du roi Danaos.Sur ordre de leur père,et pour raison d'Etat,elles assassinèrent leurs cinquante maris le soir de leurs noces.Aux enfers elles furent condamnées à remplir sans fin un tonneau troué.C'est devenu le symbole du travail qui ne finit jamais.
