Véritable athlète, 1,95 m pour 90 kg, il allie souplesse, force et rapidité. Il a été une vingtaine de fois Champion du Monde de chistéra, de 1900 à 1923, sauf interruption pendant la guerre, où il s'avéra un valeureux soldat. |
