Mangez-moi | Size (HxW) : | 325x255 cm | Style : | Expressionism | Technic : | Acrylic on paper | Theme : | Character / People | Category : | Painting | Year : | 1984 | Desc. : | Eat me! The disaster that struck the Japanese people we refer to freedom condition to deny our unique beings, with the potential for perfection but still interdependent, fragile, and liable jointly and severally for our destiny. We know that our most insignificant actions can have dramatic consequences crossing the point of no return. When will we accept that what is good for us is not necessarily favourable to others or to the world ? Only discoveries which benefit human development as a whole, the development of humanity and the universal environment should be taken forward. It would be relatively easy to choose between what could destroy us individually, collectively and worldwide on the one hand, and what could be built by revealing the genius of each - the only real wealth of humanity - on the other hand. From this reading, we can certainly check that the use of nuclear power has destruction as its first goal. Is not nuclear power - despite claims by the authorities - the «false nose» of nuclear weapons ? This energy resource is inherently toxic to human health. It is a major threat which can last tens of thousands of years. Its use should now be prohibited. We have other means a thousand times less dangerous. Let’s hope that the thousands of deaths in Japan make us decide today to cease using nuclear power. Eat me, live, love and do what you want! |
