Indeed, I live in Lorraine and am sensitive to the symbols of my region. The future bridegrooms are native of Alsace for the bridegroom (policeman) and Lorraine for the bride (nurse). They are drawn astride on a good smiling cow from Vosge with bell and glasses in the shape of hearts, to the left the snowy fir trees of Vosges, to the right a stork feasting on a good glass of standing white wine on its nest with bottle, half-timbered houses and vineyard(vine) at the bottom(in fact). To the left the cold, to the right the sun (made always beautiful in the plain of Alsace). The future bride had to cross(spend) the collar(pass) of the chap to visit her lover, the panel is in the center of the drawing. I like very much that I make, and more particularly this drawing (that does not hurt to auto-congratulate itself). |
