I’m a self taught painter since 1990, but I meet art first when I was a child by writting poetry, playing violin, drawing with India Ink, and thanks to my parents who give me interest for all forms of arts, I was and I am very emotional, and opened to my world, but, I’d never thunk that I would paint one day ! I like to say that painting has found me. I think the artwork has his own life, and I am just a médium to help it grow. The same way that litterature is not grammary, my painting is not a melting of technics and colors. I hope it’s the mirror of my cultures, the world I’m living in, my soul... I’am “maximalist” then, I like to say : “Nature hates emptyness, mine too”, I love to weave links all time, I really love curbs and curls and paint them with patience and jubilation, I love invade the space with small strokes like pointillism. I paint on wood, paper, canvas, stones, stoneware. I usually use acrylic, but sometimes varnished gouache, and Indian ink. Sometimes I mixed differents materials according to the demands of the work (fabric, wood, metal, plaster...)
My themes are various : Human beeing particulary woman, historic or social facts, nature, humour, my love for music and musicians, science, the unknown, my crowd of questions, painting just for love of painting without nothing special in my head, but a lot in my heart, and my hyperactive hands !
