" A painting, it is the story which exists only through the glance of the one who contemplates it. "At first, a white painting and then everything becomes possible. The paint is a total escape. I work according to my envy and to my inspiration of the moment, whether it is an emotion, a dream, a piece of photo on glazed paper... I oscillate between poetic realism and hyperrealism, between surrealism and trompe l'œil with some times diversion to abstract art . The theme of the woman remains central in my work. She is elegant and feminine, mysterious and sensual. We find a sure influence of the fashion, the inheritance of my stylist's formation. In my more surrealist approach it is the blue of the sky and of the sea which dominates, with always this part of mystery, illusion and delight. I investigated a large number of techniques to turn finally to an acrylic paint with casein (Paon-lin) which gives a matt and velvety finish. Enjoy your visit to my world. |
