I was born in 1952 in Bagnolet, small village near Paris. When I was at Primary school my parents offered me a big box of tempera in order to have a bit of tranquillity for I was rather turbulent child. I enjoyed spending hours drawing and painting with pencils, charcoal and tempera. I was fascinated by colours and forms. I liked to draw landscapes and portraits. In the years 70 I concentrated almost exclusively in pastel and I discovered the technique of oil painting. I loved to paint objects and old villages and ruins. I discovered works of Rosa Bonheur hyperrealistic French painter. Her works fascinated me. I loved painting in a realistic style but I admire the impressionist painters too and I try to paint some works to discover their techniques. Exhibitions:
