Painting has always been for me a story of control of time. When I brush in my hand when I work this area, I can finally try to dominate the passage of time. The choice of representing the body young, strong, healthy bodies decorated announcement concerned about the illusory and ephemeral side of that appearance.
Time past, time present, time future: my taste is always in one of these layers of time. Faces of the past impressions of these precious moments, reflections of my subconscious (and my unconscious!), Disturbing pictures of the future: these are stories that tell my paintings.
The brush is not my main tool. I have a touch with the material, spread, the scraping, the caress. The bold pastel, acrylic, ink, wax materials are my favorite.
The collage is also one of the ingredients mixed.
