Hello,
Geologist specializing in precious metals and Africa and sculptor of rocks,
which I collect in Europe. It is easy for me to find, using maps and
geological documents (often available on the internet) marbles and
magmatic rocks (basalts, granites, gabbros, serpentinites, ...) or
sedimentary (limestones, sandstones, schists , ...), original by their internal structures and their colors, and by the fact that they are rarely sculpted today.

I want to make people discover the hidden beauty of rocks, often banal in appearance, that each of us can meet during our hikes.

One of my objectives is to share the diversity of rocks and their beauty, often masked by ugly "weathering alterations ", but that one can glimpse by
wetting a fragment of these rocks

I sculpt these rocks according to their textures and geometries, according to their
fractures and lines of weakness. Which leads to dreamed or imaginary "shapes". These sculptures can be touched, because my approach is to make people feel the "tactile" joy that a stone provides.

I discovered sculpture with the sculptor Claude BERTRAND, who is active in the Niort region in France and exhibits his works in various places in France

I am a member of the SLAO (Literary and Artistic Society of Orléanais, France).
