Dolce Vita | Size (HxW) : | 46x38 cm (8 F) | Style : | Abstract | Technic : | Acrylic on canvas | Theme : | Abstraction | Category : | Painting | Sold | Year : | 2013 | Desc. : | La dolce vita is not only the gentle idleness that in Italy is a true art of living. It is also a painting in homage to the Sienese school of painting which in Italy extended from the thirteenth to the sixteenth century and developed in parallel with the pictorial art of the Florentine school. It is distinguished by a refined taste for color, inherited from Byzantium, and a very particular chromatism: oranges, very bright reds. This painting therefore tries to be the embodiment of a life full of carelessness, love and red of Siena. |
