 Jacques LIGOUREAUD
is a French painter born in Chateauroux (Indre)
Since retiring he devoted himself to painting, as a leisure activity, this painting which he had dreamed about for so long and which he had not been able to practice because he had not had enough time.
He began with watercolour over four months but in spite of some success, it was not what the wanted and after an attempt with acrylic ( it dried too fast ), he discovered a passion for oil.
That is what suited him, he could paint and return again and again on the subject, he had found his way, he, who was a true perfectionist. And he also found as a second activity céramics, which quite naturally seemed to him to complement his painting.
He worked twice as hard, he wanted to overcome his shortcomings with.
1 – Oil painting lessons
2 – Claude Monet school art
3 – Participations to the workgroups of the Louvre museum
He brought back from his travels a lot of memories, in his eyes, in his head, he painting animals, faces, landscapes, in this way he hoped to get you travel, using this oil painting so malleable, and this earth so rich.
His friends encourage him to exhibit, what he has done, with exhibitions in the Parisian region, and in the Vendée, the other region where he has connections.
