Claire Lewis spend most of
her childhood in Mediterranean countries, mostly Greece.
Living surrounded by an artistic atmosphera, she went
later to The Academy of Fine Arts in Roma? where she has
been studying during one year. Back in Paris, she has
been successively at the Academy of Les Grandes Terres
and at the Poussin's painting workshop.
During this workshop time, the living model will be for her
decisive et it's around this schema that she will approach
painting.
From her travelling childhood, Claire keeps a deep sense
colouring et movement and one can say that her paintings
show the light of the places where has grown up.
Her works have been exhibited since 1998.
