Valérie Le Goff first took some etching lessons at the Ecole des
Beaux Arts in Rennes in 1999. She started painting in 2000 as a
self-taught artist.
Also a modern dancer, she establishes links
between dance and painting. The quality and energy of dance movements
can be seen in her paintings.

Since 2003, she works on the
theme of fecondity. In a figurative style, she paints some very sensual
nude. In parallel, she finds a lot of interest in ancient rock drawings
(6000-4500 B.C.) representing rites and beliefs linked to the themes of
life and death.
