Loren Laranco

influenced by the light of the tropical landscapes she discovered as a teenager, she began her artistic quest by working with pastel before experimenting with acrylic and finally oil.

She defines herself as an instinctive painter:"I emmerse myself in texture until I reach a harmonious balance between shape and color, which I never use in frank shades".

Whether figurative or abstract, her paintings' original compositions attract the eye.
