Patrice Lannoy studied four years at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués of Paris, class of 1969.
Student including Roger Plin, Jacques Haramburu and Serge Mouille.
Reading books by Gaston Bachelard and in particular «La poétique de l’espace» will be decisive on his work, as well as repetitive music or minimalist music that brings him new horizons.
The discovery of Living Theater and Jerzy Grotowski's theater will also enrich his approach to presence in space.
He completed his training at the New Arts Lab (IRAT Institute for Research in Art and Technology) in London, 1970.
