After taking a 10 year break to pursue music, Thierry began painting again in December 2002. He has since received a first prize for his painting in July 2004 from Pernes les Fontaines.
Painting memories, Thierry writes that he loves movement and prefers "vague, lyrical, pastel tones; heavy skies; or the intensity of coolness." In a constant evolution, Thierry would like to depict more sport, and take more chance with the subjects and their representation in the future.
Thierry's style is in fact quite unique, for it finds its inspiration in movements such as early Impressionism and Expressionism while defying classification.
Although much of his work has a soft pastel palette, other works play with the contrasts between colours.
