 My name is Dietmar Weiner, I am 45 years old and I was born on 08.10.1961 in Rhineland.
After the secondary school and two years of technical education at the university, I followed a training of sculptor and stone-cutter in a company of Grefrath in Rhineland.
But, after the period of learning of 2 years, at the end of 1982, I had to leave this profession which I had chosen, because my back could not answer any more the requirements of this work.
I then began the painting, in autodidact, while exercising various professions:
Assistant male nurse, technician of medical laboratory, inventory controller, commercial office workers, employed on reprography.
In 1996, I moved of Rhineland for Schleswig-Holstein, in a small village not far from the seaside of the North, where I found an environment more favorable to the realization of my artistic work.
I come however regularly to Paris, appreciating France and quite particularly its capital.
Artistic course
I began, from 1983, to realize drawings for the pencil and particularly portraits and later watercolours.
In this time, I also discovered the faithful to detail whom we can reach with Indian ink.
In 1989 I visited Croatia and in Zagreb I worked 3 months in a workshop of painting.
There I learned the working technique with the dispersion painting, this technique is my favorite method.
In a competition of painting in 1994 on the subject ″Herrensitze″, I won the second price.
With the sending of a project for the conception of the coats of arms of a municipality, in 1997, I obtained again the second price.
An exhibition of my works in 1996, took place to Heide / Dithmarschen and gained a good local success.
In 1999-2000 I worked on the AÖZA (Archäologisch-Ökologisches Zentrum Albersdorf), that is the Archaeological and ecological Centre of Albersdorf , where I had the responsibility of forming works (crafts) and artistic works (illustrations, drawings).
Since, until today, I realized commissioned works and I work to refine my painting techniques.
″So wie ich fühle, male ich″. As well as I feel, I paint.
