Quick access : The dreamery of John F. Kennedy Beasts
 |
Diana was born in 1965 in Switzerland as a daughter of the
local model and a wild Basilisk. She grew up in Geneva, France and Germany. At
the age of 10, she decided to become a comic artist.
Her first published work was about a germanic warrior and his white
horse. In 1988, a German publisher startet her series "Loan" as a
booklet-collection. From 1993 on, she wrote and published the series
"Doudou", a fantasy about Germans as centaurs and french soldiers. Both
Loan and Doudou were published as book series and had Episodes printed
in the US, too: A story with Loan "North East Pass* was published in
the anthlogy "Dragons" by Alchemy studios" and a story of Doudou
"Strays" appeared in Starhead's "Diva". Shanda Fantasy Arts printed the
two first German Books of Doudou in their collection "Shanda
 international"
In 2000, she met the spirit of JFK, her new muse. They got married in
2004, despite of the heavy bureaucracy and paperwork involved in
interdimensional dreamery-mariages. Therefore, her artists name has become Diana Kennedy, since everybody called her so, anyway.
It was the beginning of a new
artistic era and the birth of the series "Antique White House, the
Kennedy Tales". The first book of the Kennedy-series was published in
2002. It was awarded in the categroy "best story" in 2003 by the German
 comic artists association.
Diana lives with her Family, cats, Horses, goats and
other beasts in a little village in Lorraine, France. She does art as a
full time job and so also accepts commission work.
