Alexis Bossard

Alexis Bossard first started a career as a musician at the age of 17 with the group Java, for over 10 years they performed hundreds of concerts in France and around the world.
He subsequently collaborated with artists such as Winston Mc Anuff, Sporto Kantes, Tom Fire, De La Soul, La Canaille, Benjamin Clementine, Tanita Tikaram and more recently with Guts.
Drawing, painting, graphic art in general, have always been present, for a long time the choice of career has been problematic.

He began his first paintings in 2009, in large format, mainly collage of advertising posters recovered from the Paris metro.

After a first exhibition and performance "FOLIE-S" in 2018, his work has evolved a lot, painting has taken over collage, the line has become more abstract and the gesture has taken a predominant place ... thus bringing his work of plastic artist to that of the drummer that Alexis embodies on stage.

For the past few years, he has been supervising cultural outings with schizophrenics at Ville Evrard day hospital, trying to make art more accessible, forging links between mental disorders and creativity.
