"Beyond a mere decorative expression,Pierre-Yves Beltran proposes a strong and essential reality of the subjects he cares about through objects,portraits and intimate scenes.
By a play of superpositions with various raw materials,reliefs or flat compositions,the painter exacerbates this realism so that his work can have a greater impact on our feeling,our emotion...Different subject,different creation and conception:here the raw matter,the rough support and a voluntarily weak pictorial rendering;there an explosion of colors,an intentional overburden,the addition of shapes and the entanglement of perspectives.
