Anne-Marie Chevalier
 Was born in 1942 in CASTRES in TARN but saw her early childhood in the valley of Gijou, in the area of the Mounts of Lacaune. Follows with great interest the courses of drawing at the College of Castres, up to the Philosophy class. Learning at the faculty of Letters in LILLE & TOULOUSE. Attends in years I966/I968 the worhshop of the painter Maurice Garrigues. I97O/I973 carries out a formation with the Council school of the Art school of Castres. I985/I986 makes a formation of engraving. In spite of these various formations, she remains a pure autodidact,maintening the dream secretly to dialogue with the fabric and the colour,for better apprehending this Art which for Georges BRAQUE,is a wound which becomes Light. | |
