Veronique Abt was born and grew in Morocco. She keeps her youth passed to the country of the setting sun, the taste for colors and light and the desire for discovering other people, other cultures. She finds her inspiration in travel: scenes of everydays life, portraits of women or landscapes are speaking about other places she went a moment in her life . If the standardization gains unfortunately more and more area of our planet , Veronique Abt privileges in her painting  traditional scenes beccause she thinks that unicity and  difference of each people make the richness of our planet. Veronique Abt likes to vary the techniques according to her desire of the moment. Indifferently using oil, the pastel or the watercolour, she finds in each one of these médiums a different pleasure and unceasingly renewed. She also make  illustrations for the youth edition.
