Raku: PLEASURE, HAPPINESS
4 elements to produce a unique piece:
clay to sculpt, air to crackle the enamel, fire to smoke the piece and water to freeze the result.
The interesting part comes when heat shockes bound clay with brutality.
Waiting is always unbearable!
I was born in Madagascar, self-taught artist, I created my studio in 2005 where I enjoy modeling, shaping and playing with forms and colours in symbiosis with my imagination.
My sculptures are either women or abstract poetical figures.
Africa is mainly my source of inspiration.
What fascinates me and interests me is to share my sensitivity, my passion and my emotion through my sculptures.
I was honour guest in 2004-2006-2007-2009-2010 and my works were rewarded with several prizes.
