Born in 1947 in Arzew, Jocelyne LLORET-VERDON retains from her childhood a taste for the sun and its colors, her painting is a palette made of Nature's essences which she constantly needs to express with strengh and movement.
The plastic art workshops she spent time in brought her a certain mastery of oil. Painting is a way for anyblody to get transporter beyond what the soul can feel and to relive as the work takes shape. Jocelyne LLORET developed a full mastery of the art of movement and the pieces of her work telling about Moroccan fantasias, horsemen from the steppe, or horse races in Chantilly are the generous demonstration of her skill. Yet the artist can affirm with the same happiness her approach of still lives or of landscape painting. Her luxurious forests, her twisted trunks, her mists and lights under the forest's foliage which we wish were tropical. Gérard UYTTERSPROT from the PARISIEN Participation to several exhibitions.
