Zorica Razborsek was born in 1953 in Anhovo near Nova Gorica. She lives and creates in her birth place. Soon after she had finished hairdressing school, she was involved in a car accident which left her paraplegic .
She started to paint a few years ago with help and guidance of her excellent mentor, academic painter Adel Seyoun. Soon she became completely attracted by oil painting techniques. She is actively involved in the work of Group of Painters of Paraplegics Association of Slovenia which is guided by the mentor, painter Rassa Causevig.
With help of both excellent mentors Zorica has been discovering emotional and psychological power of colours. She uses colours to express the important elements of her paintings. To achieve the desirable effect the colours are brought together very reflectively in relation to background and compositional centre.
Her creativity incorporates various motifs but in her opus no one prevails. She has no series of paintings. Her motifs are chosen coincidentally following her feelings and mood. Through each painting she presents herself to us as a sensitive painter.
