Often Colette Levie's creation originates in one or several memories linked to nature, and she paints a series of works on the same theme.
Her itinerary is also musical.In the eighties she is awarded the Belgian Government Medal in classical guitar.
She graduates in germanic philology at the UCL in Belgium and in 1996 settles down in St Germain en Laye ( France) where she learns about XVIIth century painting by "Art et Lumière".
In the meantime she draws life models with ALPY ( Atelier Libre des Peintres des Yvelines).
In 2007 she graduates from "l'Ecole d'Arts Plastiques Ginette Martenot",Paris,and since 2004 has been giving drawing and painting classes in l'Etang-la-Ville.
2004 to 2015: Salon de l'Etang-la-Ville. annual participation.
2013 : Maisons-Laffitte Award
2010-2011: 'Les artistes de l'Etang la-ville ouvrent leurs portes'.
2007 to 2012: Salon des Arts de Montesson. Yearly participation.
2009: Conseil Général Award
June 2008: 'Marché de l'Art' St Germain en Laye.
May 2008: Exhibition at the ARGR Boulogne-Billancourt.
April 2008: 'Salon Couleur et Forme', Mesnil le Roi.
June 2007: 'Rendez-vous au jardin' exhibition with l'"Atelier Pièce Unique",on the St Germain en Laye's castle terrace.
March 2007: Exhibition with "ALPY" at the Vera Museum, St Germain en Laye.
