Hello,  I have been an artist all my life.  I love to paint plein air and from inside my head.  I am mostly self-taught.  I have a Masters degree in social work. I use art with both my clients and myself as a way of exploring and expressing emotions.

I have been in a number of shows and have my work in various private collections. I have also gotten different prizes and awards for my work.  I am currently represented by the Harlow Gallery and Artists and Artisans galleries in Maine.

I occassionally teach art to children and adults.  I am the president of the Waterville Area Art society, and curriculum member of Freshwater Arts.  I also belong to UpCountry Artists in Maine, to the Kennebec Valley Art Association and to the NH plein air painters group.

I was born and raised in Maine.  I joined the Peace Corps for awhile after college and lived and worked in Thailand.   I am a single parent who has again settled in Maine, raising children, creating art, and staying involved.  LIfe is too short not to.
