Born in 1940 in Quebec city (Canada), Yvon Drouin has always been very impressed by everything that affects nearly photography, drawing, architecture and painting.
Yvon Drouin painted since 1964.
Spurred by a retrospective of Rouault held several years ago in Quebec city, Yvon Drouin began studying the works of great masters and learn the techniques of oil and acrylic.
During the progress of his painting, he was led to experiment with several types of media such as canvas, cardboard, hardboard, plaster and paper. Thus, the artist had the opportunity to perform a number of murals in acrylic and oil.
His works are part of private collections in Canada, the United States, France and Japan.
In 1987 and 1989, Yvon Drouin was selected by the National Association of Letter-arts-music to participate in the International Biennial of Auvergne.
