Binh Pham is a Vietnamese-Australian artist who lives in Sydney, Australia.  Her first name “Binh” means “Peace”.

She started out with Chinese brush painting, appreciating the gentleness and expressiveness of this art form.  Gradually, during many trips to the Australian Outback and the American West, she became more captivated by their striking vivid colours and ruggedness.

In her paintings of wild places, she endeavours to capture the dramatic moods, sense of vastness and strong colour dynamics.   Her current favourite media are pastel and acrylic.

Her Yellowstone Series paintings have been published in the book  “The Enchanting Terraces and Canyons of Yellowstone”.

Binh is a member of Macarthur Art Group and Wollongdilly Art Group.  Her paintings have been displayed at various exhibitions in Sydney since 2008.

Her solo exhibition “Wandering the Wild” at Ferguson Gallery in Camden, Sydney from 1-29 October 2012  featured a selection of 45 paintings from her Australian Outback Series and Yellowstone Series.
