Pian - Enter the gallery

Born in 1949 to Narbonne, the city of Charles Trénet, Pierre Andreu (alias Pian) makes the Art School in Perpignan where he discovers the rudiments of the drawing, the painting and especially the sculpture. Rock musician of sixties ( drummer) the choice of the artistic expression is the dilemma which will be cut by his entrance to the world of the advertising in the 70s. Techniques at that time use drawing, airbrush, ink, photo, cinema, radio, tv are going to give him a creative and technical opening which later will allow him to make the link with the new digital techniques.

After a career filled well in the multimedia communication, Pian by a just return to basics, sculptures the stone in direct cutting, paints in mixed techniques, he experiments materials, colors, styles, subjects and supports without constraint nor creative border, just for pleasure.
