Free painting in an abstract style has the preference. If material oil painting on canvas is used with very bright colours and a clear structure. Dynamics, colour, expression and ' last but not least ' light.
It is for me a challenge by means of clear colours and contrasts in combination with clear structure on the canvas to create an entity. The tension which I myself experience at making must be recognizable in the work.

I work from the idea that at making a piece of work the material and maker have a proportional share in the eventual result. The material has a strong influence on the work itself.
Eventually the viewer ascertains what he whether she wants to see.
