Monica Voykova

Monica was born on September 22, 1970 in Dubna, Russia, in the family of Bulgarian scientists.

She graduated the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia in 2001.

For several years she was drawing illustrations for the newspapers “Silence” and “Courage”. Poetry and child books were published with her illustrations. Up till now Monica is realizing the illustration and artistic arrangement of the journal “Contacts”, issued by Publishing house “Temto”.

Monica has participated in many collective exhibitions in Sofia, Nova Zagora, Varna (Bulgaria), Moscow (Russia), Prague (Czech Republic), etc.

She made an individual exhibition in Trevignano Romano, Italy, in 2005.

Her drawings and oil paintings are property in USA, Belgium, Greece, New Zeland, Italy and Bulgaria.

Monica lives and works in Sofia, Bulgaria.
