To paint is my profession and to draw is my rigour
My youth cherished the hope to become a painter, and I do not cease remaining it. My studies long and marvellous, were strewn with theatre, music and visual arts. I have started at the Boulle school as sculptor, in the traditional way. I needed then to take some freedoms in creation. and I continued at Cola Rossi street in La Grande Chaunmière and then In the National School of Decoration and Arts, street of Ulm in Paris. My chance is to have had as Professors the best professionals of the time like Sognot, Arbus, Max Ingrand; And then, I entered to the workshop of Gromaire in monumental art.
Just graduate, the events of Algeria caught up with me... for two years.
Afterwards, it was much years of trade; As Decorator of theatre, Sculptor, Interior designer, Designer, Plastics technician and Teacher. This versatility does not have anything exceptional in this trade. It contributed to gain the means of existence to preserve my design of painting without being obliged to make any concessions with the « fashion » and the trends. To paint is enough for me and I do not need any labels.
