An artist whatever is his talent about or his shape of expression is in perpetual artistic research.
This collection of the emotion began for Dominique VANNOORENBERGHE in 1990 when robust bases of drawing urge him to colorize some one of his sketches.
The learning began in the gouache and it is quite naturally the restless skies of the north of France (where he's born : Bergues) that attract the eye of the artist.
The uncountable lightning effects are for Dominique VANNOORENBERGHE an eternal source of inspiration.
Sweet light of the flemish paintings at first, then the bluish dominants of the edges of the Seine, wich he tried to get by reproducing the works of impressionistic painters, such as Monet, Pissaro and Sisley.
It is in all, hundreds of drawings, watercolours and outlines that this self-taught painter realized, by forming little by little in the processes used by masters of impressionism.
The contrasts became essential and it is logically that he abandons the watercolour for the benefit of the acrylic and the pastel more capable of returning the brilliant variations.
" Shade and sun "so we could qualify the favourite subjects ot the artist who delivers you some of his studies.
