Colourful pictures everyone can hang their dreams to...
I couldn't properly explain what I do as an artist, nor how I do it. The initial move is at random, the second is no longer so. Then one is driven on. What happens next no longer stems from the will but from the making itself, along with a continuing state of risk-taking. The desire to paint endures because one does not know exactly what is going to crop up, up to the point where it is over. All of sudden things are obvious enough. One may move to the next work. When? There is no telling.
One is eager to use new techniques, some prove to be disappointing, other raise one's enthusiasm.
The quest is endless.
As Klee wrote: "I find what I am looking for in the making itself."
