« Since it is necessary to
use the magnifier, we let the splendid pass unobserved » (Jean-Henry
Fabre).
The splendid is what with the brightness of beauty, superb, bright.
Insects are for me subjects of fascinations, wonders, dread sometimes
also. They represent all human behaviours, all social coats, all
opposites.
Because they are fantasized, they imagine them in destructive powers,
sources of misfortunes. They are however necessary to life and is often
martyred of our ignorance and our impatience.
By looking at them, I want to exaggerate them in our opinion, to give
again its place in this world of the baby by translating emotions to
notice it.
To testify the spectacular, transformations. To try to say this truth
of the prevented aesthetics because one does not look at it, because
they do not see it, because it grows back or scares.
