Olivier Olto - Enter the gallery

Olto is an artist-painter born in Toulouse in 1972 of Spanish parents. He started  painting at a very young age. Creation was always for him an essential element for  his artist’s blossoming.

Self taught artist , he likes Pop Art from the 60’. His artworks also contains elements of cubism, of surrealist and expressionist painting and comic strip.

He uses acrylic paintings, Indian ink, black lead, watercolour, to which are sometimes added various matters used in mixed technique. He favours the spontaneity of the gesture.

One of his  ways is the portrait's exploration. His paintings are often human faces with great expressivity, or moving characters from whom he trys to extract singularity.
