George Mosesov

  I was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 1953. I began my studies in private studios and thes studio Academy of Arts, but most importantly without any assistance, for a student always remains a student without this.

  In my youth, I discovered Art and Painting. I made my first steps under the influence of various artistic movements. Therefore, it is difficult to enumerate them. A few years later, after a lot of tests, I decided to focus on embossed collage for the next 12 years, using different materials, but at the same time I never stopped painting in oil.

  After the "Perestroika," my paintings were presented at several exhibitions in Tbilisi, Yerevan, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg.I took part in a lot of exhibitions, including individual exhibitions in Montreal, where I have been living for the past 15 years. I presented my works in personal exhibitions.

  I never felt that I belonged to a definite painting school, but my style is very close to Metaphysics. Today, a lot of my paintings are kept in private collections in Russia, Canada, USA, Israel, Spain, France, Germany, etc.
