I'm a young french student in History and Art history. I have 23 years old and paint rather rarely. I take advantage of my school holidays to devote to the painting. My 11 portraits might be painted with a rather fast rhythm between June and September 2008, August 2009 and June 2010. I was not able to reach my initial objective which was to realize 24. I hope to have the time to finish my series...

The project:

Portraits being inspired by the Cluedo and Agatha Christie's novels. It is a question of attributing an iconographic type to a psychological portrait.
It is a fictitious stage setting consisting in bringing in 24 portraits-characters. Being inspired by some weft of Agatha Christie's novels and resting on the interest of the characters appropriate for Cluedo.

 Every character will possess supposed physical, psychological, moral or sociological characteristics pass by pictorial representation and iconography. 
So, the story has to take place in a precise setting: in 1928, in a big English house named Hunterbury. A reception is organized by the boss of places and is going to provoke the meeting of 20 personalities in the divergent interests...
