Lima Fabien - Enter the gallery

Native of West Indies and french Guyana, Lima FABIEN draws her inspiration from movements and the colors of the Carnival. Her characters arise from a phantasmagorical universe. She sometimes uses, an allegorical language.

"Hom speak about the ocean to the profound of myself buried

Dig the earth up to roots

Smash stones and pebbles

The water lives in the spirit of people

Haunt the stiff grounds

How to speak about the ocean to the insipid sweet bitter taste

Where eyes ear to tell the others

Withnesses of the agony of the seasons

How to speak about the ocean lost in drops in the airs

If I left over there

My ocean is right by me"

Extract of its collection of poetry: "Poutchi Pouki à jamais libre" Published by Silex/Nouvelles du sud
