For many years Patrice Lannoy was working in graphics design and exhibitions scenography.
It took until 2011 to resume his brushes.
He studied four years at the (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués à l'Industrie) in Paris, promoted in 1969.
Student including Roger Plin, Jacques Haramburu and Serge Mouille.
He completed his training at the New Arts Lab (IRAT Institute for Research in Art and Technology) in London, 1970.
