Quick access :
Juliette Lamarca was born in France in 1982 and studied textile Design. She actually lives in Paris.
Most of the time, her paintings are talking about night, as a very special moment where the landscape becomes a little bit unreal and magic.
There is also a theme about the mix of different cities (see the titles of the paintings) which are representative of the places the artist knew in her life. The different places interact, superimpose on each others like in memories. Drawings are screenprinted on the paintings to create this game of layers of cities.
In 2014, her baby is born and she organizes a new way of life, in order to benefit of more time to paint and enjoy her baby. Then she tries new things and new themes. "En montant la rue des Saules", "Le mur" and "Le square Carpeaux" (2014) are the first canvas without screenprinting. "Le printemps va arriver" (2015) is the first diurnal landscape.
