Juliette Lamarca was born in France (near Grenoble) in 1982 and studied textile Design. She actually lives in Paris.
Her paintings are talking about night, as a very special moment where electric lightings of the cities change the landscape and make it magic. There is nobody out, but the streets are alive, and you can feel human presence all around (behind a lighted window, through different symbols like a car, a road sign, a graffitti...).
There is also a second theme, about the mix of different cities (see the titles of the paintings) which are representative of the places the artist knew in her life. The different places interact, superimpose on each others like in memories.
