 Mr. Mohamed krich was born in 1954 in Morocco in the city of FES, the historical city, very well-known by its old medina. It is cradle of the Arab-Muslim traditional architecture. vast houses, are decorated richly by a garment characterized by the ZELLIGES.Wood and sculpted arabesques in plaster, all this artistic ambiance marked the painter deeply.very appreciable to chromatic effects of contrasts of typical lights of the Mediterranean landscape. the young painter, from his sweet age, precociously manifests a predilection for the intimate contemplation of the nature that he copies in the crunchy, sometimes , under the shape of dark drawings and sometimes , loaded of color.
After the primary and collegiate studies in his native city FES, KRICH MOHAMED appeared in the school of applied arts in CASABLANCA where he received an academic artistic formation that he will never stop developing, in the beginning,studying the old academic teachers like:DELACOIX ,CHARDIN,VELASQUEZ,MANET and so many others, and in continuation by the meticulous survey according to nature (landscape,dead nature, characters, animated scenes ...etc.) .
His pictorial technical virtuosity that characterized his paintings ,denote a deep restraint of alchemies of old teachers' colors, especially the Flemish painters. This particular knowledge of pigments and the binding allows the painter to prepare mediums and rich miscellany and particularly flexible ,resulting a sleek paw that permits the development of effects and returning them more subtlest.
His oscillating merely representational work between realism and impressionism, is characterized by a hidden and nervous key recalling - without miming it as much- the invoice of some experts such FRANS HALS, GERICAUL, SAUSAGE, MANET.
The Moroccan scenes and countryside (alleys, stalls, portals, terraces, old gates) that make the preference and the painter's predilection, are dealt with a light fluid hand in the sumptuous chromatic ranges and very mixed, that the artist charge here is to transcribe the colorful ambiances and the sentimental impressions of his characters and their environments ,which made an excellent contrasts of lights and the nicety of obvious and vague effects ,that in fact ,particularize this painter's style ,he inserts to the plastic picture which is revived by the eye and the artist's hand, a character of trompe l'oeil landscape.
Tthe dead natures - often composed of traditional objects drawn in fields of the Moroccan oriental handicraft -are returned with malleability and delicacy.the effects are finely successful of the different multicolored glimmerings that produce reflective light on objects in bronze and in silver , this latter create an atmosphere of fascinating magic . details are transcribed by keys of synthesis, the one summarizes here and details the same thing, in sum, at a time all is here , but.... With few things it is merely, to describe without writing.
The prosperity and the diversity of paintings of the painter KRICH made him in Morocco a relevant reference in the contemporary representational plastic arts., his pictures are not solicited only by the Moroccan collectors but also by foreigners . Several exhibitions-individual and collective-are organized in Morocco and abroad and his paintings are private collections everywhere in the world. he is on the lineage ofthe beginning paintings of the last century ; for example : PONTOY , BERTUCHI, BRONDY, and so many others .
