A transcendental part of a human nature always looks for its own Eternal source and inevitably has doubt regarding visible reality. The conditionally perceived illusionary surroundings require examination and overcoming... Surrealism, through it's inner absurdity and paradoxes, destroys trust in reality. It is an aesthetic play of the human imagination with a nostalgia for everlasting spiritual liberty. But Visionary Art has a different field of the play, the Contemplative artist is a participant of the action himself, he doesn't play with the help of mind by the symbols and their mechanical constructions anymore, but operates with energies, forces which bear the images, intuitive way, acting spontaneously, just "letting" the painting to manifest itself. ... A Visionary artist can not be Atheist, he always serves a certain Highest Power and represents it by own creative activity and life.

OLEG KOROLEV
Was born in 1968 ( Chita's area, Russia). Since 1979 studied in the Studio of the Classical Drawing ( Vilnus, Lithuania). In 1981studied in the Art Studio and in the Art School ( Evpatoria, The Crimea ). From 1984 to 1990 studied and graduated from the Crimean Art College (Simferopol). 1992, 1993 - participated in the group artistic exhibitions ("The Arnhem gallery", London, Great Britain), 1994- exhibition of the Crimean artists " Art-Effect" ( Simferopol). From 1995 to 1998 - exhibitions in the gallery "KEP" and in the "Private Bank"" ( Simferopol). 1998 - the international art festival "Russian Winter in Montreal", Vand-ArtGallery" (Montreal, Canada). From 1998 to 2001, took part in various private artistic projects with Russian and German art collectors. Since 2000 - a member of the artistic society "Society of Art of  Imagination" (the London, Great Britain), in 2002,- "All Media Invitational 2002 Period Gallery , (Omaha, USA), ' 2003 Ramsey Center for the Art' (St.Paul, USA), 2004 - participated in the art project of the Maestro Ernst Fuchs, as well as studied the painting technique of this famed master, directly from the firsthand (Klagenfurt, Austria). 2006-participates in the ""The Society for Art of Imagination Exhibit at the Giger Museum, Gruyere's, Switzerland".

Paintings of Oleg Korolev represented in private and corporative art collections of Russia, Europe, North America and Australia.
