We left our studios in the northern part of the Netherlands for studios in an old farmhouse in the southern french Quercy Blanc region, in a beautiful, luminous and spacious landscape, an inspiring countryside for artists. Once in a while I place my easle outside to paint the Quercy landscape but most of the time I do portraits: "Face to Face", a series of imaginary persons, painted close-up, facing the viewer; themes like "Shamans", "Trees of life". My paintings/collages/mixed techniques are created from intuition, instinctively, spontaneously. Through this website I like to present and share my work. |
